Project Deadline: 27 June 2008
You are a web designer working together with your team to create awareness about the role of working women in society. Your key duties are as follows:
- Create a website, in the form of a weblog, that explores and highlights the challenges that face the typical working mother in present-day Singapore.
- Conduct one or two interviews with working mothers as part of your research process to document the struggles and reasons for their choices
- Write a transcript of the interview and include it creatively in any relevant parts of your blog
- Each team member is to contribute a personal write-up. Read Guidelines for details
- There are Four Topic Options (read below). From each class, only 2 groups will be allowed per topic option so that we have a good variety of interviews and blogs. Your team’s option is specified in the respective class pages.
- When you sign up to create your team’s blog, you can ONLY use the assigned blog URLs (in the form of smss1E1T1.wordpress.com). To find out what is your blog URL, refer to your respective class page listed on the right column or top of this page.
- Check this website each week as the teachers may post updates and additional guidelines over the holidays. Over the holidays, if you encounter any issues, you can email your questions to us at smsseng@gmail.com. We will try to reply as soon as possible.
